Kempinski Hotels today celebrates 120 years of delivering rich and meaningful experiences to its guests with “Ignite the Night”, a series of festivities designed to enchant and delight guests, as Europe’s oldest luxury hotel group marks this milestone anniversary.
Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok celebrates the hotel group’s 120th anniversary with a series of special events throughout the year that reflect the brand’s unique European flair.
On 8 April 2017 the celebrations begin with “Ignite the Night” – a candle-lighting ritual in the lavish lobby of Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok where 36 uniformed staff will light up the hotel’s beautiful flower centrepiece as a symbol of the hotel group’s glorious celebration. Guests and visitors are welcome to witness this marvellous ritual. Opera singers will provide an appropriate musical accompaniment to this significant ceremony as guests enjoy a complimentary glass of bubbly. The lighting ritual takes place at 18:00 hrs.
The lighting ritual will carry-on throughout the month of April with uniformed staff marching marvellously to light up the hotel’s lobby with candles to the sounds of background music, enhancing the hotel’s European heritage. Guests and visitors are welcome to witness the hotel’s lighting ritual every day from 9 to 30 April, 2017 at 18:00 hrs.
The 120th anniversary celebrations will also see the launch of the Kempinski Travel in Style Competition, offering the chance to win an exclusive 10-night trip for two people, in three Kempinski hotels, including flights, limousine transfers and suite accommodation.
