Following its recent opening, Duke Contemporary Art Space—located on the 1st floor of Gaysorn Plaza—has become a major hit among aesthetes and cigar aficionados in Bangkok.
Beyond the lavish entrance lies an exhibition hall which entices guests with selected art pieces from local artists, along with the gallery’s iconic soldier sculpture. Stepping inside, a creativity space, which is defined by a dark wooden bar, brown cushion chairs and objets d’art, serves up delicious snacks as well as a wide range of bottled beer, wines and other spirits.
The speakeasy-style cigar lounge comes with dark wood, leather sofas and dim lighting, offering premium cigars and whiskies while enjoying a sumptuous wall painting by Thai artist, Alongkorn Lauwatthana. There are also two private rooms which are reserved for members only.
Duke Contemporary Art Space can also accommodate groups of almost any size for art events, receptions, presentations, training sessions, workshops, and even live performances.
