Today we brought you back at OSHA, a newcomer modern Thai restaurant on Ruam Ruedee Road. (CLICK: For our review of Khao Chae OSHA). From the last Episode of Thai summer classic menu ‘Khao Chae’, this time, we will go in depth to an exquisite Thai food and beverage created by Chef Purida Theeraphong.

For the starter, we go for one of the highlighted menu, OSHA’s The Floral Set “Garden Talk Crispy and Berry Sauce”. This fabulous starter is basically a crispy rice. The usually plain rice crust is turned into a golden thin baked crust decorated with various colourful flora: purple butterfly pea, yellow calendula, red, pink and white roses. Served on a gigantic Lotus leaf, a good-looking dish comes with sweet Mulberry sauce mixed up with chicken meat and coconut milk. The remarkable sauce served into form: a frozen sorbet sauce and a thick liquid topped up with coconut cream caviar.

Squids & Salted Egg bursts with salty and sour flavors. A big cut of deep fried squid mixed with salted egg sauce based then flavors up with butter, garlic, and olive oil. Served on burned Coconut shell, in which the aroma smell from coconut light up the flavor to another level, do not forget to squeeze a lime on top for this extraordinary combination will surely be impressive.

The next menu goes a bit more sassy with Dancing King Prawns– a take on raw shrimp sashimi, OSHA special dish select a big size of Prawn was boiled in liquid nitrogen in order to keep fresh while remove fishy smell. The freshness raw prawns served on a slice of cucumber and Beetroot, then topped up with sour and spicy sauce coming in the form of a scoop of sorbet. Keep concept on Molecular Gastronomy, Dancing King Prawn is obviously twisted from only a local street food to a creative menu.

รMost of the people do not expect much on a Fruit, but look what we got for this Thai Summer Fresh Fruit? This ordinary modest dish becomes an extravaganza menu with different kinds of carved fruits: a guava with salty and sore plum powder, a rose apple with chilly and salt and a mango with a sweet fish sauce made from OSHA signature recipe based on a fine selection of shrimp paste seasoning with 100 percent coconut sugar.

For those who want to have more fruity fresh up, move a bit to a big set of popular Thai fruit: Pineapple, Mango, Watermelon, Grapes, Cantaloupe and dragon fruit. All carved fruits are stacked on top another huge slab of granite rock, which is then placed over steaming dry ice that engulfs the whole table. This is totally amazing!

Our last menu for today goes to a contemporary Thai dessert Riceberry Sugar Dumplings with Coconut. Inspired by a classic Thai recipe, this cup of sweet feature a coconut dumpling served in creamy coconut soup before served with a bowl of crispy rice. This three combination is truly perfect for such a delicious journey.

We go check out a bit on a signature cocktail, OSHA Chada cocktail. This golden tray with a miniature chada (Thai crown) offers a refreshing taste from sour passion fruit, sweet apple. Using Thai Brandy as a based, you can taste sweet scents of vanilla.

The next glass present a Mekhong based cocktail, Hanuman Series Cocktail, served with a small Thai traditional mask, in which the colour of the mask will be chosen from the colour of its cocktails.

It’s hardly fine such a place where a food, beverage, and decoration are all features the beauties and charm of Thai culture. No wonder the Thai dishes at Osha have been taken to new heights and we would love you to drop by and experience this memorable dining experience by yourself.
