Lovers with a passion for fine cuisine will find their heart’s desire at the Savelberg Thailand on Wednesday 14 February. A seven-course menu will be prepared by owner/chef Henk Savelberg for Saint Valentine’s Day at its Michelin-starred restaurant in Bangkok.
A selection of surprise “Amuse-bouche” will prepare you for this lovely dinner. The menu will start with a lobster with lemongrass, Ginger, Pomelo and Japanese Shimeij mushrooms.
The second course will be “Fine Claire” French Oyster with Cranberry and Bone marrow. To follow, Chef will serve you a pan-seared scallop with a black garlic and Radish garnish with a hint of Citrus.
The next dish will be a Sole ”Beurre Noisette” served with three versions of Cauliflower finished by a sprinkle of Hazelnut,
It will be followed by a Foie Gras, seasoned by Yuzu and an Apple.
The main course will be a “Label Rouge” Chicken, which is a high grade free range Chicken, served with French Truffle and a Celeriac preparation.
To finish on a sweet note, Chef will prepare a Special dessert made of Rhubarb and Raspberries.
The seven-course Valentine’s Day set menu is priced at THB 4,700 excluding tax and Service Charge per person, and is available only on Wednesday 14 February 2018 from 12:00h to 14:30 h and 18:00h to 22:00h.
Savelberg Thailand has been awarded one Michelin star in Michelin Guide Thailand, an accolade added to the total of four Michelin stars that have been awarded over the years to restaurants in the Netherlands in which Henk Savelberg has been head chef.
