Every two months, the special selected grandmother recipes from world unique cuisine will be showcase as the main degustation items in Voila’s magnifique dinner buffet. This is a rare chance for you to discover original taste of authentic food from each diverse country around the world.

French Grandmother Recipe

Recently Voila just had special French Grandmother week lead by Chef Jeremy Cayron and Chef Jerome Deconinck. Both chefs selected their favorite grandmother recipes from 2 distinctive region of France. Chef Jerome Deconinck came from the north eastern where cuisine focused on vegetable and agriculture resources. Chef Jeremy Cayron came from southern where seafood is the main principle. The menus are authentic and not easy to find outside France. This wild range of extensive menu included.

Braised beef and carrots : a slow cook beef with carrot in the oven, simmer them into a rich sauce.

Classic ratatouille : a classic recipe which cook by sauté many kind of vegetables together.

Grilled sea bass pastis fennel : This simple dish is compliment by Chef Jeremy signature olive oil.

Pissaladiere : A traditional appetizer from Nice. Which made from onions, olives, garlic and anchovies.

Bouillabaisse : An Occitan traditional fish stew with Provençal herbs and spices.

œuf à la neige : Or usually call floating island in Europe consisting of meringue floating on crème anglaise (Vanila Custard)

Cuisines on Stage at Voila

Apart from special grandmother menus, the fantastic French inspired buffet also featured the remarkable “Cuisine on Stage” buffet concept. Which bring the best of it kind to show of it’s best on the buffet line. From Bread corner, there are full range of well know French bread with butter, appetizer corner feature a traditional French salad such as Niçoise, a composed salad of tomatoes, tuna, hard-boiled eggs, Niçoise olives, and anchovies, dressed with a vinaigrette. Seafood on ice corner filled with a wide selection of fresh premium seafood. Italian corner is separate from the main buffet line, but kept a rare thin pan pizza fresh from the oven located just behind the counter. Cheese room is one of the best. It’s a house of exclusive French and selection of premium Cheese. The finale is dessert corner where focused on the jewel of French cuisine, plus the gigantic ice-cream container feature 12 delicious flavours. You may compliment your fantastic meal with a bottle of wine from Voila extensive wine cellar. All of this delicacy surely completed your meal with a memorable experience, transfer from Chef’s precious memory.

Celebrate Mother day with Thai Recipe from your grandmother 

The fantastic grandmother week will be back again on August with Thai Grandmother Recipes. This special Grandmother week is set to celebrate the special occasion of Mother day with the rare and authentic Thai recipe cooked by Thai guest chef. Voila will take you back to the old time when you still young and daily meal is filled with your grandmother delicacies.
