The management of The Okura Prestige Bangkok is pleased to announce that its Yamazato restaurant has been awarded the Michelin Plate distinction in the inaugural Michelin Guide Bangkok 2017. Yamazato was one of only two Japanese eateries among the 76 restaurants listed in the Michelin Plate category. The restaurant’s Yamazato outlet at sister Hotel Okura Amsterdam is the holder of one Michelin star.
At Yamazato in Bangkok, Master Chef Shigeru Hagiwara and his team create authentic Japanese cuisine including traditional Kaiseki Ryōri set menu dishes, outstanding teppanyaki, sushi and sashimi offerings and an extensive à la carte menu.

It is the definitive traditional Japanese restaurant where the quality of each dish is matched only by attention to detail in the preparation and presentation.
