Today the Great Gastro will bring you an unlimited of drink while enjoying a cocktail making workshop at 22 Steps Bar, a trendy place to hang out at Hotel Indigo Bangkok. 

Located on the mezzanine between Lobby and Metro On Wireless, 22 Steps Bar had its name from a number of staircases you should take from the Lobby to the bar. The interior is separated into two sections: The first part is the front hall and below the decorative chandelier. The second part is close to the lobby where you can see the view from the outside street. If you are looking for a child out evening with a cool glass of cocktail, here is where you are meant to be!

For those who enjoy privacy, the table at the right side of the bar seems to be a right sport. Decorated with a colourful painting, the table is suitable for 4-5 guests, what a perfect corner for hang out with friends and family! 

22 Steps Bar presents you a varieties kinds of snacks menu, mostly in Thai style. However, if that is not enough, you can always order a food right from Metro On Wireless kitchen where the famous Thai food and dessert is prepared by a professional chef.

 Today we visited 22 steps Bar to experience a special activity, which happens on every last Sunday of every month. Apart from serving Free Flow Drink for 3 hours for 599++ Baht, guests can enjoy a Cocktail workshops: 3 signature cocktails from the professional bartender, Mr. Brain. This extra promotion is available exclusively for only 10 persons a day, happen from 3 p.m. onwards. 

Mr.Brian, a talented Bartender at 22 steps bar will be in charge of our workshop. Starting from a colourful violet cocktail based on Gin mixed with Lavender syrup. The aroma smell from lavender adds the sense of relaxation before topped up the taste with a sour and sweet taste of lemon and apple. The freshly cocktail have its colour from a butterfly pea, then added a sparkling soda before decorate with passion fruit powered with red sugar. This adorable drink gets its name from the address of the hotel, 81, in which 81++ is also its price. After demonstrations, the audience were the challenge to mix their own 81 cocktail. 

Move to the next glass, Take me home, a special cocktail available exclusively for Valentine’s day. The raspberry Puree, Gin and soda were used as the main ingredient. The taste and smell are quite sweet which should be suitable for the lady. Here we go again, mixing a cocktail from the guideline. The tip is beware when you shake the cocktail for the tempo and force are all affected the tasted of the cocktail by allowing the air mixing into the drink. 

The third station is the newest menu called ‘Tea Lady’, which, of course, its name represent its main ingredient. Using Eral Grey Tea and Gin as a base, added a little bit of sweet from Ginger Ale. The white cream with an aroma smell from Earl Grey add the casual looked to the drink.
