In partnership with Bouchon Family Wines, Fireplace Grill and Bar at InterContinental Bangkok presents a very special wine dinner on 25 August 2016.
Since 1887, the Bouchon winery has been producing outstanding vintages. Now those wines can be enjoyed at similarly distinguished Fireplace Grill and Bar, itself a Bangkok dining institution for nearly 50 years.
Chef Sebastian Reischer has created a six-course set dinner menu of superb dishes paired with fine Bouchon wines. The meal begins with a selection of four hors d’oeuvre including Duck Croquette on Black Tea Fruit Chutney, paired with J. Bouchon Sauvignon Blanc Reserva.
Tasmanian Salmon is then served with J. Bouchon Chardonnay Reserva followed by Tiger Prawn with J. Bouchon Rose Reserva, before guests enjoy further not one, but two more dishes of Lamb Shoulder with Potato, Onion and Leek Ash and paired with J. Bouchon Carmenere Reserva Especial, and Butter-Poached Hereford Fillet of Braised Beef Cheek, Chorizo Crumble and Chanterelle Mushroom, the main complemented by J. Bouchon Block Series Cabernet Sauvignon. This memorable wine dinner concludes with dessert of White Chocolate Mousse with Caramel Ice Cream and Black Currant Sauce.
Representing the winemaker will be Mr. Pablo Montero of the Bouchon Family Wines, who will share his knowledge of each wine’s characteristics throughout the evening.
