Ciccio Sultano is the chef patron of his two star Michelin restaurant Duomo, located in Ragusa Ibla, Sicily. An ambassador for his island’s famously satisfying food, Chef Sultano is known for turning classic Sicilian ingredients into whimsical dishes that express both his connection to the land and his mastery of contemporary techniques.
Over the years, he has received many awards such as the two Michelin stars, which were reconfirmed every year from 2006 to 2015. Since November 2015 he has been selected as the chairperson of the prestigious Le Soste di Ulisse organisation that showcases the work of 27 gourmet restaurants, 20 charming hotels and well-known cellars. In 2012, his restaurant received 18/20 score from the guidebook ‘L’Espresso’ and was nominated as one of the 20 best restaurants in Italy.
