From now until the end of July, seafood enthusiasts will be delighted with a new ‘Seafood in the city’ promotion from the award-winning modern Italian restaurant Scalini at Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok, featuring an array of fresh caught seafood, only from sustainable sources to meets the hotel’s philosophy of sustainability.
The ultimate seafood feast kicks off with the chilled seafood bucket for two with numerous seafood items to enjoy, including Fines de Claire oysters, rock lobsters, tiger prawns, bouchot mussels, white prawns, blue crabs, salmon salad, and seaweed salad. This parade of seafood delicacies is well accompanied by delectable sauces such as spicy seafood food, cocktail sauce, and barbeque sauce.

After feasting on the seafood on ice, continue with the chef’s creations of Warm Lobster Carpaccio, consisting of sliced lobster meat garnished with burrata cheese, aromatic foam made with Noilly Prat vermouth from France, foie gras, bottarga, caviar, and black salt.
This is followed by the Zuppa D’Aragosta, a mouthwatering lobster bisque flamed with VSOP Cognac, together with tarragon cream and caviar which acts as an excellent accompaniment.

For main course, the restaurant’s signature dish, “Chef Win’s Tiger Prawn Cannelloni” is truly outstanding. The cannelloni-shaped zucchini comes with a succulent filling of tiger prawn and blue crab, topped with a cheese slightly burnt with a torch, and served with an espuma made with Sriracha sauce.
Apart from these, there are still plenty of other appetizing treats awaiting you at this restaurant.
Exclusively on Friday, Scalini will host a weekly ‘TGSF or Thank God, It’s Seafood Friday’ feast, in which the restaurant will be transformed into a seafood market where guests can purchase fresh produce straight from the sea, including American lobster, Fines De Claire oysters, bouchot mussels, Manila clams, Thai blue swimming crab, and many more. Plus, Scalini’s chefs will be on hand to cook anything that you specifically request.

‘The Hilton commitment to sustainable tourism is well known throughout the world. This commitment embraces the use of sustainable and eco-friendly methods in the catching and harvesting of seafood and shellfish. The new mouth-watering menu at Scalini is a magnificent example of how restaurants may present the most amazing dishes without causing long-lasting and irreversible damage to our rivers and oceans.’ said Ian Barrow, General Manager of Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok.
