Two old friends from New York, who have since risen to great heights in Bangkok’s culinary scene, will be cooking together for the first time here on 22 August when Eat Me’s Tim Butler and Bunker’s Arnie Marcella share their memories of the Big Apple with a jointly produced dinner priced at THB 5,750++ including wine pairings. The event will be held from 19.00 to 23.30 hrs at Bunker, on Sathorn Soi 12.
The menu includes Eagle Rock oyster, from Washington State; yellowtail crudo, the raw fish served with a dash of Osetra caviar; one of the finest of all steak brands, Ohmi Wagyu, prepared seared tataki-style; veal stuffed into pasta pockets, agnolotti-style, and served with Parmesan cheese; mackerel char-cooked to a recipe created by the famous New York Kenka Japanese restaurant; abalone grilled and served with congee, Chinese sausage and ginger; New York strip loin served with baked truffle potato; and a black truffle ice cream.
