From 7 June – 23 July 2017, the Japanese restaurant KiSara at Conrad Bangkok will treat its guests to a special dish from the mountainous Kyushu region of Japan. Fresh from the farms of renowned brand Yamada Suisan, Japanese eel – or ‘Unagi’ as it is called – is carefully reared to create a unique taste. Unagi is a popular dish throughout Japan due to its health benefits as well as its delicious flavor.
The Yamada Suisan eel is raised in natural water from the Kirishima Alpine region. There are no chemicals involved in the process, which makes the product 100% organic. Unagi is packed with nutrients and contains three times more vitamin E than regular eel. What’s more, it has health properties that help improve the nervous system and are beneficial to the heart.
Kisara Premium Unagi Menu highlights Toku-jyou Unakyu-maki (Avocado, egg omelette, cucumber roll, premium grilled eel covered with tobiko and salmon roe), Toku-jyon Unagi Kaba-yaki Tempura (Premium grilled eel and vegetables tempura), and Tokujyon Unagi Hitsumabushi Gohan (Premium sliced grilled eel, egg omelette and oba leaves topped stream rice).
On the night, the Unagi delicacy will be prepared by the restaurant’s master chefs, and served alongside other exquisite Japanese specialties, such as sushi and sashimi.
