Coziness meets elegance
Decked with contemporary wooden décor and punctuated with columns, the high-ceilinged dining hall oozes warmth and opulence, making for a perfect dining setting for relaxing weekday nights. The tall glass windows overlook a serene pond with chedi replicas in the center, imparting an enchanting quality to the space. With swanky music in the air, the dining area also features a live cooking station where you can marvel as the chefs dexterously work their magic and conjure culinary delights dish after dish.

Cornucopia
The buffet dinner here is a lavish affair, and the details that go into the selection are astounding. Even the simplest thing like butter is meticulously sourced, with two kinds of artisanal butter Échiré imported from France on offer to go with their vast array of breads.
The buffet dinner here is a lavish affair, and the details that go into the selection are astounding. Even the simplest thing like butter is meticulously sourced, with two kinds of artisanal butter Échiré imported from France on offer to go with their vast array of breads.
The expansive buffet encompasses a whole gamut of flavors from a variety of cuisines, ranging from Western dishes like beef cheek stew with mash potato, pork saltimbocca on skewers, and coq au vin to Asian delicacies such as wok-fried soft-shell crab in yellow curry, tom kha gai (spicy coconut soup with chicken, mushroom, galangal, kaffir lime), and a whole parade of fresh sashimi featuring imported ingredients like salmon, tuna, and engawa, and bite-size Japanese appetizers such as seaweed salad and seasoned baby octopus.

Also joining the array are Thai dishes from the hotel’s award-winning Celadon such as spicy duck salad with roast rice, chili powder, and Thai aromatic herbs and spicy pak wan (saropus) with tiger prawns, shallots, and lemon chili dressing.
Be sure to check out their impressive spread of ten cheeses that is bound to excite cheese aficionados, with staple varieties like brie and camembert to rarer ones like Sainte Maure and Pouligny Saint-Pierre, as well as an assortment of carefully selected charcuterie such as chorizo, coppa, and Parma ham.
Let us entertain you
When you hear a bell ring, you can be sure that you’re about to be entertained because live cooking shows are about to begin. At 7:00, 8:00, and 8:30 p.m., prepare to be dazzled as chefs, who certainly enjoy audiences and know how to entertain them, walk you through each step as they magically conjure delectable treats right in front of your eyes, complete with the pyrotechnics of a flambé. Watch as the chef tosses fresh pasta and creamy salmon sauce into a cheese wheel and finish it with the pyrotechnics of a vodka flambé before serving it up to his guests.

The fun hardly ends there. The in-house magician who almost reminds you of a court jester goes table to table to show off his sleight of hand and neat tricks that will leave you puzzled, awed, and entertained in equal measure. We don’t want to spoil the tricks for you, but expect things to appear where they shouldn’t be and disappear from where they should be.
A la carte delights
In addition to the lavish selection of delicacies, Colonnade also offers eight sumptuous a la carte dishes cooked a la minute at the live cooking station and served right to your table.
Seared foie gras
The seared foie gras is served with a drizzle of balsamic jus, the indispensable rocket, and refreshingly tart pickled mulberries that cut through the decadent richness of the foie gras.
Hokkaido scallop
The plump Hokkaido scallop comes served on a shell, almost reminiscent of Botticelli’s the Birth of Venus. The scallop itself luxuriates atop a bed of sautéed baby spinach with truffle sauce drizzled on top, infusing the dish with its distinctive aroma.
Vaccinara short rib
The braised beef short rib is so meltingly tender that your knife will go through it like butter. The beef arrives on luxurious and velvety semolina polenta that will help balance out the richness of the stew, with the garnish of celery adding a dainty touch of freshness to the dish.
Chimichurri lamb chop
The seared lamb chop looks elegant on the plate and, when cut open, reveals its perfect pinkness and juiciness. The tender meat is served on a bed of puréed ginger-infused carrot and slightly zingy green Argentinian chimichurri sauce, accompanied by roasted baby carrot for a hint of sweetness.
Argentine beef tenderloin
The Argentine beef tenderloin is cooked to perfection as indicated by the pinkness and how juicy the meat is on the inside. The beef is glazed with luscious red wine jus, accompanied by crunchy baby cos and a warm jacket potato garnished with crispy bacon bits.
Poached rock lobster
Poached perfectly, the exquisite rock lobster retains its snap and is served in half for convenience, elevated with light and aromatic mayonnaise infused with fine herbs and ginger for a refreshing bite.
Lobster butter Phad Thai
Colonnade has done this much-beloved dish justice with its own elevated version. Tender but still maintaining their pleasant slightly chewy texture, the flat noodles are cooked in lobster butter and sweet and tangy tamarind dressing, giving the dish its hallmark yellowish orange color. The Phad Thai is served with a whole river prawn cut in half, raw banana flower, a delicate bundle of centella held together with a ring made of chili, and lime wedges for the zing.
Bamboo sword fish
The sword fish fillet is cooked in bamboo along with shallots, holy basil, lemongrass, and a whole parade of other Thai herbs, infusing the tender fish with a rustic and distinctively Thai aroma and flavors that will wake up your palate.
Sweet indulgence
To cap off your gastronomic journey, Colonnade offers an eye-popping panoply of desserts, ranging from quintessential Thai sweets like thongyod and medkhanoon to western flavors such as fruit tarts, assorted macarons, peanut butter mud cake, Sukhothai chocolate truffles, and deep-dish pavlova filled with passion fruit and fresh berries, and much more.

Cleanse your palate with refreshing homemade ice cream and sorbet of various flavors or pair it with crepe suzette prepared by a chef in a live cooking show to indulge your sweet tooth. Not to be missed is the deceptively simple-looking yet oh-so-satisfying sticky toffee pudding doused in warm, rich, and luscious caramel sauce that will be the perfect way to end your epicurean experience.
