Executive Pastry Chef Claus Olsen of Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok has created new French pastries to match a cup of hot or cold coffee, which will be available at Lobby Lounge starting today onwards.
Guests will have a great afternoon indulging in their coffee, along with delicious French pastries, while enjoying lively views of the Chao Phraya River. They should not hesitate to taste Chef Olsen’s Red Delicious Apple, one of his tempting pastries, which is a mixture of vanilla cookie crumble and Valrhona ivory chocolate.
Guests may select their preferred choice among the new French pastries, which include Pavé (Milk Chocolate Cremeux with Passion Fruit), Paris Brest (Crunchy Caramelised Hazelnut Praline), Apricot and Pistachio Éclair Choux, and Shang O Magnum for those who have palate for strawberries and yogurt.
A cup of hot or cold coffee and a piece of French pastry is priced at Bt250++ per set.
